Yes, there’s a fee to reserve a meeting room at Innovative Professional Office’s Ottawa location. The price is usually determined based on a number of factors including the type of event being held, the number of attendees that need to be accommodated, the size of the meeting room, the type of office equipment that will be provided, and whether or not catering has been ordered.
2. Are the meeting rooms equipped with a Wi-Fi connection?
Yes, all of our meeting room rental packages include High-Speed 5G Wi-Fi as this is an essential component that most modern businesses can’t function without.
3. What types of office equipment can be rented for the duration of the meeting room rental?

Meeting rooms are typically booked on a first come, first serve basis and in some cases, spaces may be limited. For that reason, we highly recommend that you book your meeting room as far in advance as possible, especially if you’re planning on hosting a large group of people. This will ensure that your desired room will be available and give us more time to prepare for the event in advance and provide all of the required accommodations.
6. Who can rent our meeting rooms?
Our meeting rooms are available to any business, organization, government department, or individual who need them to conduct their regular business such as holding staff meetings and retreats, training, presentations, seminars, or just meeting with clients. Government agencies, NGOs, start-ups, entrepreneurs, and all-sized businesses have made use of our facilities and meeting rooms in the past.
7. What is the seating capacity of your meeting spaces?
Our facility contains various meeting spaces that can accommodate a wide range of gatherings from small and cozy to larger capacities. We can arrange for anywhere from one to 60 attendees (depending on seating arrangement) in our meeting rooms, boardrooms and training rooms. For larger groups, we do require advanced notice as soon as possible so that we can make all of the appropriate preparations.
8. What if I need to cancel my meeting?
If you ever do need to cancel or reschedule a meeting, written notice must be provided at least two weeks prior to the date of the event. Cancellation after this date will be subject to full room rental charges. Please note that we can often accommodate changes in the size of your event and can relocate your booking to a more appropriate room.
9. Can I arrange to have my own catering services at my meeting?
Innovative Professional Offices handles all catering requests. Outside catering cannot be accommodated. We will provide you with a full array of options for your catering needs. Catering requirements need to be received at least three business days prior to meeting. Any changes received within 48 hours of the event will be subject to a $50 change fee.
10. Is it possible to serve alcohol at my event?
No. Innovative Professional Offices does not have a liquor license and as such alcohol cannot be consumed on site.
11. Is there a limit in terms of how many times I can reserve a meeting room rental?
There are absolutely no limits on the number of times any one company or business can reserve one of our meeting rooms. We welcome your repeat business. Whether you simply need a quiet place to meet with a client or employee, or you need a room for a week-long conference, we are here to support your business endeavours and be a part of your success. 12. Will I be allowed early access to my reserved meeting room to setup?
Provided that the space hasn’t been rented out immediately before your time slot, we’ll gladly afford you the time needed to setup your event. If you let us know ahead of time that you’ll require early entry to the meeting room, we’ll gladly reserve the additional time for you and even help you set up the space as needed.
13. Can you store my equipment for me overnight?
We can provide you with overnight storage options for any type of personal equipment or supplies so that everything is ready to go for the next day of your event. You’re responsible for bringing any supplies and/or additional equipment on the day of the meeting
14. Are there any specific rules that I should be aware of prior to securing my spot with IPO?
We simply ask that you and your associates, employees, visitors and clients use our space mindfully and respectfully to reduce the risk of damaging any of the equipment provided or incurring injuries to your or our staff members. Our support staff is available to help you operate the equipment provided and answer any questions you may have, so please don’t hesitate to approach them with any inquiries.
