“Bay Street may be a prestigious address to have for businesses, but with rent clocking in at $68.52 per square foot, renting an office in downtown Toronto is often out of the price range of many startups and SMBs,” says Eshai Hirshberg, director of Innovative Professional Offices.
Hirshberg notes that there has been an increase in office space rentals outside of downtown Toronto, specifically in Brampton, Mississauga, and Hamilton—areas in which rent is much more affordable.
